Since her purchase in the summer of ’02 as an un-scored 5-year-old, the 3E-94 Integrity Dixie has bloomed into a phenomenal brood cow for us. Canyon Dazzle was calf in dam and has proven to be a tremendous bonus. Her first milking daughter by Dundee is already VG-87 *RC and in our flush program as a 2-year-old. Dazzle has daughters by Mac (2 *RC), Lou (*RC) and Zenith with a *RC Zenith son still available at a breeder price. Dazzle will freshen again this summer. Her 1st calf VG-87 Starbuck sister sent Durham eggs to Germany. Dixie Ann has come into her own this lactation as well. She has Advent & Shottle embryos available right now. Integrity Dixie, a terrific flush cow in her own rite, has her last calves to be born in June by Advent. In Jan. ’08 Kandy passed committee inspection and was raised to EX-95 – the first cow to do so at Wilstar. Shortly thereafter she made a successful flush to Stormatic (embryos available). She has several bred heifers by Sept Storm that hare hoping to join sister Durham KoKo as 4th generation Excellents. KoKo has 2 superb daughters by Aspen & Linjet and is bred back to Jasper. Watching Kandy continue to eclipse accomplishments continue to be both fulfilling and yet humbling to have her in the barn and so gracefully go about her business. Hopi calved last October with a Mac heifer and is working on a fabulous record. She has a Lichtblick son at Select and a Red Cole at International Protein Sires. Alex bred right back to Zenith and will re-calve again this winter. Her 2 Outside sisters have both sent sons to AI and continue to do well in the herd, but it is their full brother at Select Sires, called Altitude, that is making the most noise. With early fresh daughters showing outstanding production info, the August sire summary will be highly anticipated for us. | After a few bumps in the road, Kite Lover is back at it and as good as ever. Lover makes 6 of 7 generations EX from the famed Tora Triple Threat LuLu EX-96. Her 2E-91 40,000-lb. dam was 3rd 4-year-old at Madison in ’05 with both in our 2nd place Best Three Females. Her long, lean neck and bright red, shiny, silky hide catch visitors’ eyes every time. We are so fond of her daughter Talent Limited we are flushing Lover that way again with future flushes being considered by Debonair and Shottle.
